The Singapore CBD Skyline has changed dramatically  in the last five years, largely due to the development of the Marina Bay area.  The most noticeable change is the vast Marina Bay Sands complex which opened in 2010 – the most prominent feature of which is the colossal three tower hotel (containing 2,561 rooms), topped by a huge sky park boasting the world’s longest infinity pool, lookout deck, bars and nightclubs!

In addition to this, there is the striking lotus flower shaped ArtScience Museum in the foreground which is lit up by changing colored lights, giving interesting variations to the photographs.

An evening walk around the Marina Bay area gives great views of all of all of these new landmarks as well as the slightly older Esplanades Theatre (the ‘hedgehog’ or ‘durian’ shaped building) and the historic Fullerton Hotel.
